We can see the prophesy of the end times in Matthew 24. Like the leaves blooming on a tree as a sign of spring and coming summer, so are the events occuring on earth.
- Wars and rumors of wars
- Forest fires
- Heat waves
- Flooding
- Earthquakes
These signs all point towards the final outcome. But when will the end come?
Matthew 24:36-39: "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."
To understand the end, we will have to look into the book of Revelation to expand on what John was privileged to witness as yet to come:
Revelation 1:1-3: The Revlation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants-things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
